Hi I’m Ruth Olivia J,
a Stylist, Visual Merchandiser, Digital Marketing & eCommerce Ops Manager, and DIY enthusiast born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.
I started my career in fashion in 2014 in retail, and through academic pursuit and various roles, she evolved into a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing & E-commerce Manager in the industry. Undertaking multiple creative passion projects surrounding the fashion, beauty, and interior design industries, most recently building out and creating eCommerce sites such as Texture ‘N Tone in 2020 for interior design home essentials, namesake Ruth Olivia J in 2023, a platform to share her creative projects and lifestyle content, and Vanity By Ruth Olivia, an organic skincare lifestyle brand expected soft launch for Spring 2024.
Discovering through exploring my creative passions, sharing bits and pieces of my life, and journeying through my career via social media hasn’t been just a self motivator, but it has influenced and encouraged others that they’re capable of living in their passion and that their goals are within reach—a gift of a community of doers I’ve been fortunate to also learn from and be inspired by. Taking time away to self-reflect and focus on work encouraged me to ground myself further in my purpose and commit to honoring my creative self with the same grace and power to share my projects and content unapologetically.
